Russell and Susan Beach are among 15 nationally recognized photographers selected for inclusion in the book, "PROFESSIONAL STRATEGIES and TECHNIQUES for DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHERS".

Russ and Susan are recognized nationally for their pioneering efforts in the field of digital imaging and how the small town photographer is able to bring the latest technology to the local scene and provide their clients with all the benefits that digital imaging can provide.

Russell and Susan have operated Beach's On Location for 16 years in the Cottonwood area and service local as well as national clients. They moved here from Maui, Hawaii in 1994 where they operated a 2,000 sq ft. studio for 9 years.

Russell is a Professional Photographers of America MASTER OF PHOTOGRAPHY and is an ADOBE Certified Expert. In addition to providing Commercial and Family photography, he teaches Adobe PhotoShop to Professional Photographers from across the nation including Hawaii and Alaska. Russell's background includes 45 years of professional photography having worked as a Wildlife Photographer in Africa, and as a scientific and technical photographer at White Sands Missile Range, as well as the ARPA Operated Maui Optical Station, Hawaii and the University of Alaska’s Geophysical Institute. His career has taken him to more than 30 countries around the world.

  
Susan is a Professional Photographer, Graphic Designer and Business Manager. She specializes in creating business advertising in the form of brochures, rack cards, flyers, etc.  She is a member of the "Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep" organization in an effort to help grieving parents deal with the loss of an infant. She is active in the community and is a Past President of Cottonwood Chamber of Commerce  and continues to serve on that board as well as a Board Member of the "Old Town Association".
